North South (York)

North South is a cool little café bar close to Bootham Bar which opened in 2019.

Comprising of just one small open plan space with a nice metro tiled bar to the back, it is simple, smart and modern with a decent selection of cans and a couple of draught lines at fairly reasonable prices. It's a friendly café catering for everyone with table service and a relaxed atmosphere. They have more of a focus on the café element with coffee and snacks but with the added bonus of cocktails, wine and some beer. 

The toilets were very smart and they even have a small outside area for warmer days, although this is right on one of the busiest roads in York. As a whole North South is slightly outside our remit for pubs and bars but a pleasant enough spot to stop at for a drink and a light bite.
