The Fleece is situated on the edge of the Town centre in Otley, a characterful stout 1800s building which has a fairly modern renovation within. The main room with the bar is open plan with a central fireplace and with a light and bright side room and a beautifully traditional snug tucked away to the other side.

There might not be the most adventurous selection of beers on the bar but they at least have a couple of well kept Timmy Taylors cask beers at a decent price.

The focus of The Fleece is more food orientated and it's this which keeps pulling us back, especially for their fabulous Sunday dinners, served in proper large Yorkshire portions.

They're also very dog friendly and have a great looking riverside beer garden at the back which we look forward to checking out in the summer. Needless to say we'll be back, especially as it's the nearest pub to our new house.

 The Otley Taps is a great open plan pub in the centre of Otley. Sociable seating and a great range on the bar, often featuring many locally produced beers from Ilkley Brewery, Black Sheep, Brew York and the such like. All very well priced as well.

They have an impressive cobbled yard to the rear with ample seating and a big TV for sports. The main focus though is the infamous Otley Burger Company trailer at the bottom serving some of the finest fresh and tasty burgers Yorkshire has seen!

With quality beers, super friendly staff and a lovely relaxed atmosphere it's well worth popping down for a visit.
